Summary ID 28 Episode 1 Go to the West Author yumi Episode Summary Togenkyo is a peaceful land wherein humans and youkai live in peaceful coexistence. But then, a negative wave of energy is sweeping across the land, transforming youkai into murderous beasts, wreaking havoc among humans. The land of Tenjiku in the west is believed to be the source of this evil wave. As the story begins, a group of monks are shouting to Son Goku to get down from the peach tree and stop eating the fruits that were intended as tribute to the Goddess of Mercy, Kanzeon Bosatsu. Genjo Sanzo appears and orders Goku to go down, as they were to embark on a long journey. The monks whisper why Sanzo had picked up such a rascal, but Sanzo warns them about talking behind his back. When Goku asks where they were going, he answers that they are to meet Cho Hakkai and Sha Gojyo. Meanwhile, Gojyo and Hakkai experience first hand the effects of the energy wave. Gojyo's card game buddy Soshi transforms into a fierce youkai, forcing Gojyo to kill him. Hakkai and his white dragon, Hakuryu (in the form of a green jeep), were attacked by a youkai child. In the forest, Goku asks Sanzo why they were meeting Gojyo and Hakkai. He tells Goku of his audience with the San-Butsu-Shin (the Three Aspects), gods who serve as the "voices" of Kanzeon Bosatsu. According to the Three Aspects, the evil wave consuming Togenkyo originates from the west. It seems a mysterious personage is determined to awaken the Demon King Gyumao, who was defeated 500 years back by the Fighting God, Toushin Nataku Taishi, using the forbidden combination of magic and science (the results of which are dangerous and unpredictable). It is the task of the Sanzo-ikkou to discover who is behind this scheme, what this person hopes to gain from this experiment, and to stop the reawakening of Gyumao. In doing so, they would restore the youkai to their normal peaceful selves, so that peace may reign in Togenkyo once more. Just as the monk's tale ends, Sanzo and Goku are attacked by youkai, but they are quickly joined by Hakkai and Gojyo. As they defeat their foe, one youkai asks Goku, Hakkai and Gojyo why they are not on the side of their kind. Ironically, it was a question that Sanzo asked the Three Aspects, concerned that his companions might turn on him during the trip. But the Three Aspects reply that the scars of their past bind them together, giving them formidable strength, and advise that he should trust the eyes of his own heart. Being a not so trusty sort, Sanzo wonders if he should. But then he hears Goku's reply to the youkai's question -- that they are not on anyone's side but their own. As the last of the youkai is killed, Sanzo tells everyone that they are heading west. Author Comments LET THE JOURNEY BEGIN!!

Summary ID 31 Episode 1 Go to the West Author Katrina Episode Summary Togenkyo was a peaceful land where demons and humans lived together.Suddenly, there's a negative wave of energy flow towards Togenkyo and turn demons out of control and start to attack humans.On the other side in Changan Palace Temple,a few monks was trying to persuade Goku who was eating the preach as it is a tribute to the Goddess of Mercy.Sanzo arrived and order Goku to come down for they are going on a journey and have to meet Gojyo and Hakkai.Gojyo has won in a card game but the man he was playing with turn into a demon and start to attack.Gojyo managed to kill him and knew something is wrong with the demons while Hakkai was on the way to pick up Sanzo and the rest but managed to escape from youkai children.In the forest,Goku ask Sanzo why are they meeting Hakkai and Gojyo?.Sanzo answered that he had a meeting with the Three Buddhas who ordered him to find out about the Gyumao's revival,who is behind it and prevent it.Just then,demons begin to attack Sanzo and Goku and was later joined by Hakkai and Gojyo.A demon ask them why are they not on the demons side since they are demons?.Sanzo was thinking the same thing when he was meeting the Three Buddhas but the Three Buddhas said that because of their scars in the past had tie them together and ask Sanzo to believe in the eyes of his mind.Then, he heard Goku answered that they are not on anybody's side but their own.After the last demon was killed,Sanzo said that they are heading to the west. Author Comments I think the story are good and has comedy in it.Sanzo,Goku,Gojyo and Hakkai can be a good group for they have different personalities that make them 'get along'.

Summary ID 37 Episode 1 Go to the West Author v Episode Summary Genjo Sanzo talks to the three Buddhas. They ordered him to go to the west to stop the villains who are planning to revive the demon lord Gyumao. He sets out the journey with Gokou to meet up with Gojyo and Hakkai. Meanwhile, on their separate ways, Hakkai and Gojyo met up with rampaging demons. Later, in the forest, the four young men met up with each other. They showcased their powers to the demons. Sanzo then decides that all four of them will journey to the west. Author Comments sorry for the short and not very precise summary. ^_^

Summary ID 100 Episode 1 Go to the West Author Son Goku Episode Summary Togenkyo is a land where people live with demons in peace. But a strange wave of energy causes these demons to go berserk and kill the people. Meanwhile, Genjo Sanzo came back to the temple when he heard other monks shouting at Son Goku. He asked them why they were so noisy and they replied that Goku was running around the temple all muddy. When he entered the room, he saw Goku playing with a puppy. Goku told Sanzo that the puppy was alone so he picked it up. Sanzo slapped him with the fan and said "bakero!". Then he told Goku to behave while he is gone. Goku insisted to come so he took Goku with him. They were in the forest when Goku asked Sanzo why they were here. Sanzo told him that they are meeting Cho Hakkai and Sha Gojyo. Goku asked why and he replied that the three Buddhas was instructed by the Goddess of Mercy or Kanzeon Bosatsu to make him go to the west with Goku, Gojyo and Hakkai. Just when Sanzo was talking, demons started attacking them. Then Hakkai and Gojyo came to their rescue. Three of the demons noticed that Goku, Gojyo and Hakkai are demons because Goku and Hakkai are wearing control devices and Gojyo has red eyes and hair. They asked Goku why they are on the side of Sanzo. Golu replied that they are just fighting for themselves. The fousome learned that Gojyo's friend,(who is also a demon) went berserk and tried to attack him but Gojyo killed him first. Sanzo wondered why the three demons were to go with him to the west. He remembered that he asked the same question to the three Buddhas. They told him that the Goddess of Mercy was the one who chose his companion and they think it is because their past are bonding them together. Sanzo then announced about their journey to the west where the wave of energy is coming from. It was said that there is an ongoing experiment to revive Gyumao, a great demon who was killed by the fighting god, Nataku Taishi.
