CLAMP is the all-female manga team responsible for such works as Magic Knight Rayearth, and Cardcaptor Sakura, which are both published in the US by TOKYOPOP®. The film version of their creation X received a limited theatrical release in 2000 and the television series Cardcaptors, which is based on Cardcaptor Sakura, has aired on Kids WB! Using artistic styles unique to each of their books, they are credited with bridging the gap between girls' and boys' manga in becoming one of the most sought-after groups of innovators in Japan today. |
