So, one day, the group of anime fans met together to work on a school project and as expected, we were making very slow progresses, then the discussion topic slowly drifted to anime.
Someone mentioned about searching for info on a newly released anime, after we enthusiastically worked in front of the monitor for 20 minutes, we ended up with dozens of dead links, annoying pop-up banners and basically nothing of value.
This is when we decided to build a anime link database of our own. One that's working and is constantly updated!
After about a month of hardwork and link-testing, Anime Chains Network was born!
Since we started off from scratch, we tested our link bots on anipike.com's anime link collection. We here by give full credit of animechains' initial link archive to anipike.com.
We would also like to thank all the people over at the computer science department who supported us through this project. Yeah, the programming part would have been real tough without their help!
